Relief from Weighing of Powder Drugs
DimeRo II performs all aspects of powder drug weighing and dispensing, including drug selection, weighing, distribution, dividing, and packaging, so pharmacists don’t need to spend time on these tasks. The time created by delegating them to DimeRo II can be used for interpersonal tasks such as medication counseling with patients.
Two Large Discs for Quick and Even Distribution
By using two large discs, it is possible to dispense as many as 186 packages at a time, making it easier for pharmacists to assist patients with long-term prescriptions. In addition, three drugs can be sprinkled simultaneously onto a single disc, making it possible to mix and dispense up to 12 drugs in a single prescription.
Thorough Automatic Washing Function Prevents Contamination
Baking soda is passed through all chemical pathways such as discs, screws, and hoppers for automatic cleaning after dispensing. A tornado air current is created to uproot and remove residual chemicals, particularly during hopper washing. In addition, sensors check for any residual chemicals and dirt on the discs after automatic cleaning to prevent chemical contamination.
